At Rooted Wellness & Psychotherapy, we combine evidence-based care with genuine connection to support mental wellness. Hey, I’m Jenna, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and co-founder of Rooted Wellness & Psychotherapy. I’m registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and continue to pursue advanced training in trauma-informed and performance-based approaches. My practice is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and nervous system regulation. I draw from modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic and Mindfulness-Based approaches, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. I work with individuals who are navigating life’s high-pressure seasons, from the exhaustion and identity shifts of motherhood, including perinatal mental health challenges. My approach is calm, compassionate, and evidence-based, helping clients reconnect to themselves, build resilience, and find steadiness again when life feels overwhelming. I believe therapy doesn’t have to be clinical or intimidating; it can be a space where you exhale, reflect, and feel seen. Together, we’ll focus on understanding what’s underneath the burnout, perfectionism, or stress, and we’ll build practical tools to help you regulate, recover, and move forward with confidence.  Our sessions are a space where you can exhale, be real, and move at your own pace. I take a gentle, collaborative approach that blends conversation with practical tools, so you leave each session feeling both supported and empowered to take small, meaningful steps toward change. If you’re feeling stuck, burned out, or simply ready to make a change, I’d be honoured to meet you where you are and support your next step. Together, we’ll work toward balance, not perfection.

Hey! I’m Katelyn. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and co-founder of Rooted Wellness and Psychotherapy. As an EMDR-IT therapist, I use an eclectic approach to therapy that integrates various modalities, focusing on each person’s unique goals and strengths. My aim is to create a warm, supportive space where we can authentically explore whatever brings you to therapy, including aspects of mental wellness and nervous system regulation. I tailor my approach to what feels most helpful for you, drawing from a variety of methods to support your growth, healing, and overall wellbeing. I work with adults, children, teens, and families, helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, low mood, relationship or family challenges, parent-child relationships, self-esteem, and behavioral or developmental difficulties. Additionally, I have a keen interest in perinatal mental health, understanding its unique challenges. I bring curiosity, openness, and compassion into every session and love helping people feel empowered and understood.
